Questions
Do I need Google Tag Manager on my booking page?
No. Conversions are sent server-side from BookedSmile directly to Google Ads, GA4 and Meta. If you already use GTM on your website, you can also listen to our booking events there.
Does it replace my practice management software?
BookedSmile focuses on booking, patient communication and marketing tracking. Clinical charting and NHS claims are not part of it yet.
Where does payment money go?
Straight to your own Stripe or payment provider. BookedSmile never holds your patients' payments.
Is patient data safe?
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and only hashed contact details are sent to ad platforms. We never send treatment details to Meta or Google.
Can my staff have their own logins?
Yes – owners, dentists and reception each get their own login and choose which mobile alerts they receive.
